Nigerian musician and social advocate Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has openly criticized President Bola Tinubu for failing to address the worsening insecurity across the country.
Responding to the President’s recent post on X about the tragic killings in Benue State, Falz condemned the statement as inadequate and indicative of a broader pattern of inaction. He asserted that President Tinubu has repeatedly failed in his fundamental duty to protect citizens and ensure public safety.
In a strongly worded comment, Falz stated, “You have continuously proven incapable of fulfilling the basic responsibility of safeguarding the lives and property of Nigerians. These routine statements are meaningless.”
He also expressed deep concern over the lack of national attention to the incident in Benue, where hundreds were reportedly killed. Falz remarked, “More than 200 people brutally murdered and burned in Benue, yet the issue is barely receiving the attention it deserves. Why do we treat ourselves with such cruelty?”
