Veteran Nigerian musician Friday Igweh, popularly known as Baba Fryo, has weighed in on the reasons behind the separation of iconic music star Innocent Idibia, aka 2Baba, and his now ex-wife, Nollywood actress Annie Idibia. According to him, the couple’s shared lifestyle in the entertainment industry played a major role in the collapse of their marriage.
Speaking on a recent episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, the Dem Go Dey Pose singer said that both parties failed to properly manage the demands of their careers alongside their marriage.
“2Face and his wife didn’t manage themselves well,” Fryo remarked. “They are both entertainers—Annie is an actress, and 2Face is a musician. It’s hard to make that work if there’s no balance.”

“Even 2Face’s current lover, Natasha, is someone I’ve known since she was three years old. I once carried her on my lap,” Fryo shared during the podcast episode.
