A Nigerian woman, identified as Grace Ebenezer Sey, a fashion designer, has shared her traumatic experience after being kidnapped during a boat trip. In a shocking revelation, she disclosed that her abductors attacked her because they believed her naturally curvy shape was the result of a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery.
Grace recounted that she was travelling by boat when a speedboat suddenly intercepted their vessel, blocking their path. “Before we knew what was happening, the men were already inside our boat,” she narrated. According to her, the heavily armed kidnappers transferred all 24 passengers from her boat into theirs.
“They stacked us like fish, and they climbed on top of us,” Grace said, recalling the inhumane treatment they endured.
Her ordeal took an even more disturbing turn because of her body shape. Grace explained that the kidnappers flogged her buttocks with a cutlass, convinced that she had spent a fortune on cosmetic surgery.
“They told me I had money for BBL but didn’t have money to pay ransom,” she recounted tearfully.
Grace revealed that at that point, she thought she would lose her life. “I thought that was the end for me, but God saved me,” she said. However, she did not go into detail about how she eventually regained her freedom.
Following her release, Grace has now turned her experience into a warning for women.
“In all you do, don’t do BBL,” she cautioned, emphasizing that women who undergo such procedures might become targets in dangerous situations like hers.
Her story has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with many Nigerians expressing shock over the incident and others highlighting the increasing dangers of kidnapping across the country.
