New Epstein Files Name Elon Musk and Prince Andrew
Congressional Democrats have released a new batch of Jeffrey Epstein files, naming high-profile figures including Elon Musk and Prince Andrew. The documents, turned over to the House Oversight Committee by Epstein’s estate, include phone message logs, flight manifests, financial ledgers, and details from Epstein’s daily schedules.
One entry dated December 6, 2014, reads: “Reminder: Elon Musk to island Dec. 6 (is this still happening?).” Musk has previously acknowledged that Epstein invited him but insists he declined.
The files also reveal a flight manifest from May 12, 2000, showing Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, flying from Teterboro, New Jersey, to West Palm Beach, Florida, alongside Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Maxwell was later convicted in 2021 for conspiring with Epstein to traffic minors.
Prince Andrew has repeatedly denied wrongdoing. While Buckingham Palace records show he was in the U.S. during that period, it remains unclear whether references to “Andrew” in Epstein’s ledgers specifically refer to him.
Other High-Profile Names Appear in Epstein Records
In addition to Musk and Prince Andrew, the newly disclosed files list several other prominent figures:

Peter Thiel: A November 2017 entry references a planned lunch with the tech billionaire.

Steve Bannon: Records note a scheduled breakfast with the former Trump adviser on February 17, 2019.

Bill Gates: Epstein’s documents mention tentative plans for a December 2014 breakfast party with the Microsoft co-founder. In 2022, Gates admitted meeting Epstein had been a “mistake.”
The documents also include two redacted ledger entries from 2000, showing payments for massages for an “Andrew.” Whether this refers to Prince Andrew remains unconfirmed.
Political Reactions and Call for More Transparency
Sara Guerrero, spokeswoman for the Democrats on the House Oversight Committee, emphasized the significance of the disclosures:
“It should be clear to every American that Jeffrey Epstein was friends with some of the most powerful and wealthiest men in the world. Every new document produced provides new information as we work to bring justice for the survivors and victims.”
Meanwhile, Republicans on the committee accused Democrats of “putting politics over victims” and vowed to release the full set of Epstein documents soon.
Epstein’s Criminal History and Death
Epstein’s crimes date back decades. In 2008, he struck a plea deal after the parents of a 14-year-old accused him of molestation. He was arrested again in July 2019 on sex trafficking charges, but before trial, Epstein died by suicide in a New York jail cell in August 2019.
The scandal continues to reverberate globally as each new release of records adds to public scrutiny of the influential figures once connected to Epstein.
