Rap superstar Nicki Minaj has responded to circulating rumours suggesting she is financially insolvent, following online claims that she went bankrupt after her recent tour and alleged financial conflict with Jay-Z.
The speculation intensified after Minaj seemingly took a jab at billionaire music mogul Jay-Z over an alleged $200 million debt. Some social media users interpreted the move as a sign of financial distress, with others suggesting her world tour had drained her finances.
One fan questioned her silence on the matter, writing: “There was a tweet about you having nothing left after your tour, you didn’t quote that to say it was a lie though.”
In a fiery response, the “Anaconda” rapper dismissed the claims, insisting she is thriving financially and actively expanding her real estate portfolio.
“Buying another mansion as we speak,” she replied. “It would be the third in two years. That’s besides the properties I’ve purchased for others over the past 15 years. Catch up, ugly.”
Minaj went on to mock the rumours, adding, “If tomorrow I wake up and want maybe 20–30 million, all I have to do is hand in my album. Then I’d tour again and gross over a hundred million. Do you realize this is Nicki Minaj? It’s just projection from Bot Nation, it seems. Justice for Demoree.”
She also revealed a flashy new acquisition: “Just bought my first jet. It’s all pink. Come on, losers, get in! Sike. Fly Barbz only.”
Minaj’s bold rebuttal has since gone viral, with fans and critics alike reacting to her sharp clapback and continued flex of her wealth.
