A check on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, confirmed that Phyna’s verified Instagram page was no longer accessible. This development suggests that the reality TV star has intentionally stepped away from social media to grieve in private and shield herself from public attention.
The tragedy struck on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, when a truck belonging to the Dangote Group hit Ruth near Auchi Polytechnic in Edo State. The accident left her with severe injuries, leading to the amputation of her leg.
Despite efforts to save her life, Ruth passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at about 6:30 am, as confirmed in a statement released by Eko Solicitors & Advocates on behalf of the family.
Reacting to the unfortunate incident, the Dangote Group expressed deep sorrow and revealed that Ruth had been under their financial and medical care. The company further disclosed that plans were already underway to fly her to India for advanced treatment before she sadly succumbed to her injuries.
