Wizkid’s first son, Boluwatife Balogun, popularly known as Tife or by his artistic name Chmapz, has shared fresh insight into his growing journey in music. Speaking during an interview with Glitch Africa, the 14-year-old rising artiste made it clear that he does not feel compelled to match or outdo his father’s global achievements.
According to him, he is still discovering his path. “I don’t feel pressured by my dad’s success,” he said, explaining that he understands he still has a long way to go. Tife noted that despite his young age, music has always been a natural part of his life.
The teenager further disclosed that he has been writing songs since childhood. “My dad does music, I have friends that make music and a cousin that plays piano. I have been making beats and writing songs since I was young. There’s no pressure. I’m young. I mean, I’m 14. I still have a long way to go. I’ve done a lot for my age already. No pressure,” he added.
Tife continues to build a growing fan base as he hones his craft, proving that he is determined to make a name for himself on his own terms.
